Today we would like to announce the update of our Guidelines for Aircraft Operators on the Preparation of Monitoring Plans from 2025 and Emission Reports from the Reporting Year 2024. The main changes comply with the amended Monitoring & Reporting Regulation 2018/2066 (MRR) and TEHG.

The following additions and updates, among other things have been made:

  • New chapter on alternative and eligible aviation fuels, including guidance on monitoring and reporting
  • New chapter on monitoring and reporting of non-CO2 effects, including guidance on developing a monitoring plan
  • Reporting obligation for third-country flights under CORSIA
  • Amendments in line with the redesigned FMS application
  • Guidance on data publication
  • Information on significant changes to the monitoring plan in accordance with the revised Article 15 MRR
  • Special information for verifiers
  • Updates on virtual site visits in accordance with Articles 34a and 34b AVR
