Emissions Trading in Aviation: Information event on the creation of the non-CO2 effects section of the monitoring plans (3)

Dear Reader,

As announced in our newsletter of 17 March 2025, we are pleased to provide you with further details on our "Online information events on the creation of the section on non-CO2 effects of the monitoring plans for the period from 1 January 2025" and kindly invite you to participate.

When:  7, 8, and 9 April 2025 
Audience: aircraft operators

The events have the same content and are organized by DEHSt in cooperation with the German Aerospace Center (DLR). They are structured as follows:

  1. Brief overview of the different non-CO2 effects of aviation and basic information on their monitoring, reporting and verification under the EU ETS 1; Examples of monitoring methods of varying complexity
  2. Presentation of the section on non-CO2 effects in the Forms Management System (FMS) and illustration of various examples
  3. Questions answered by DEHSt and DLR

Organizational Information

Participation in the events is free of charge. The events will not be recorded. We will make the presentations available on our website afterwards.

European Commission Information Event Announcement

In addition to the information events in December 2024, the European Commission intends to organize another online information event on Tuesday, 29 April 2025. The focus will be on questions that arise when drafting monitoring plans for non-CO2 effects. You can send us your questions by 14 April 2025 and we will forward them to the European Commission in preparation for the event. Please use the following E-mail: emissionstrading@dehst.de
