Welcome to the first newsletter of the German Emissions Trading Authority (DEHSt) on "Maritime Transport". Today we inform you about the inclusion of maritime transport in the European Emissions Trading Scheme (EU-ETS) and would like to refer to the first FAQs already published by the European Commission and DEHSt. On our website, we will soon add the subcategory "Operating maritime transport" to the tab "European emissions trading". There, in addition to maritime transport in the EU ETS, the topic of MRV maritime transport regulation can also be found.
